French duo Angara, composed of Quentin and Loris, crafts narrative and cinematic house music, blending universal emotions with intimate stories. With over 70 million streams to date and performances all over Europe, they are just at the beginning of their musical journey. The story begins in the late 2000s when Loris & Quentin met in the south of France, sharing their first music productions as teenagers. Their friendship quickly grew around a shared passion for music and creative expression. Years passed, and life pulled them in different directions, only to bring them back together nearly a decade later. What started as a simple reunion soon became Angara, a project built
on authenticity, emotion and movement. After several self-released tracks that quickly caught the attention of the electronic music scene, they unveiled their acclaimed Rwanda EP on Monstercat Silk in 2021, which has since accumulated over 30 million streams. It was soon followed by two successive two-track EPs on Colorize and their three-track ‘Altitude EP’ on Cercle Records in 2023, all showcasing the duo’s melodic sensibility and ability to blend emotional depth with dancefloor energy.
Their music is a narrative journey through immersive soundscapes and electronic layers, a landscape where seemingly opposed emotions are woven together. Angara’s signature is contrast: delicate and soothing melodies over driving rhythms
and atmospheres, carrying listeners into their own imagination. In recent years, the duo has also toured, performing at festivals and embarking on their first headline European tour in 2024. In 2025, Angara released two remixes – for Sistek and Panama x Massane – as they focused on composing their debut album, set to be released in 2026 on Embassy One, the legendary label home to Monolink, Röyksopp, Moby…
